Model Based Definition (MBD) with PTC Creo 2.0
More and more companies are embarking on the initiative to increase design process efficiency by embedding product definition information into the 3-D model. This three day course covers the necessary skills and best practices to implement MBD with PTC Creo.
- Day 1: Learn the basics of creating 3-D drawings in PTC Creo Parametric with global dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for a variety of different part types, and publishing to PTC Creo View for downstream reuse in the product development process.
- Day 2: Learn the setup, configurations, best practices and necessary process changes to implement Model Based Definition. How to work with PTC Windchill, server side publishing, multiple recipe files and multiple workers will also be covered.
- Day 3: Practice and apply the techniques to projects in real time under the guidance of an expert.
This course is targeted at users with strong prior knowledge of Pro/ENGINEER or PTC Creo Parametric.
Mastering CAD-Driven Product Structure Management with PTC Windchill 10.2
In this course, you will master how to create and manage a CAD-Driven Product Structure. You will learn how to work with Product Structures using a top-down and bottom-up combined method. You will also learn how to include complex and advance component creation and management techniques in the product development process.
This is a three day course with the first day focusing on creating CAD-Driven Product Structures, with the second day focusing on advance tools and techniques to managing complex CAD Data. On the third day, a workshop will allow you to practice what you have learned with an expert instructor watching and guiding you along the way.
This course is targeted at users with prior knowledge of PTC Creo fundamentals, advanced assembly functionality, PTC Windchill fundamentals as well as a thorough understanding of PTC Windchill CAD data management.
