natural flexion of a shaft

Dear All

I'm working with Pro-mechanica wildfire 4 and O want to calculate the flexion of a shaft according to is own mass

please can you give me the method to follow ( or better a tutorial )

Olivier,

You need to apply a gravity load:

pro-m_grav_load.png

Then make sure that your material has the correct density, and that your shaft is constrained in an appropriate way.
