The purpose of this group is for PTC to work with customers on requirements and improvements to the FlexPLM UI/UX for the materials development process.
The working group deliverables will be:
A readout of customer data and interview responses
A prioritized list of requirements
Draft user interfance model in XD
Working group duration is 1 year starting asap.
The intended amount of participants is:

Working Group Description:
Improve ability to provide a holistic view of product progress across its planning and development lifecycle, including but not limited to exploring:
- Improved integration with the natural flow of work (versus requiring additional calendar/workflow specific actions and clicks)
- Providing an integrated view of progress across multiple associated objects: product, colors, samples, materials, sourcing
- Other opportunities as identified via the working group

We want to partner with you to work with your end users to participate in our study to improve the user experience in the BOM maintenance business process. The project will include onsite and WebEx interviews, as well as several follow up surveys and prototype wire frame reviews. We understand it’s a very large time commitment and we appreciate your partnership and feedback!
Some examples of topics include:
- Understanding the inputs/outputs.
- How is data shared? Communication process
- Roles & Responsibilities for create/update
- Timing related to the GTM calendar
- Vendor communication & responsibilities
- Etc.
