Faster Loading of CAD-Assemblies

We would use the setting "force.update.metadata.on.open=No" (winclient.ini) to open CAD-Assemblies faster, but this setting is returning wrong values for system-attributes like Lifecycle-State. The setting to "Yes" is taking much more time for opening large assemblies, but all values for the attributes from the Windchill-system are correct displayed in the CAD-Application. 

Is it available to differ both behaviors with an additional setting or add a new button "update system attributes" after loading the assembly (without CheckOut)?

If user sets 'force.update.metadata.on.open=No' in wgmclient.ini file then Performance looks good but PTC_WM_LIFECYCLE_STATE value is display wrong while opening in NX.
If user sets 'force.update.metadata.on.open=Yes' in wgmclient.ini file then Performance is low but PTC_WM_LIFECYCLE_STATE value displays correct while opening in NX.

 

Users are impacted and facing either of issue by setting any value. It would be great if we can see some additional setting or property which can help to overcome the issue. 

 

PTC case C15652960 was opened and closed with an update - 'This is the expected behavior and user has to live with it'.

Please do let us know if we have any update on this.
