Found this a while back in my dad's machinist hand book. He started out tanning leather at the local tannery and retired a VP of Engineering at an automotive supplier. Graduated from night school with a BA in Business when he was almost 50. Unfortunately passed away 1.5 years after retirement. Being a tail-ender, I didn't get to know him very well since I was 24 when he died. Enjoy some thoughts.
