Yay, We did it! Go RED SOX!

 

 

No photos of the World Series, but taking the opportunity/advantage of the OFF TOPIC Board to give a shout out to the HOME TEAM BOSTON RED SOX!  Congrats, Sox!   If you didn't tune in and "live" the game, you can read about it  from the New York Times here.

Yay Sox!  Didn't get to watch a single game, but having spent the first 10 year of my life outside of Boston ('64-'75) I'm still a big Bruins (especially), Red Sox, Celtics, and now Patriots fan.  I got to see both the Bruins and the Celtics play in the "Gaahden" back in the day.  Glad to see the "curse" is finally lifted!  Now, if only the Bruins could win another Stanley Cup in the next few years....
