Circular pattern which moves outwards and alternates angles

I have trouble figuring out how to create this pattern, it radiates outwards to a certain diameter while alternating the cuts, this is different when I try to use an axis pattern to do it as the cuts will be the same size and along the same axis.

Any help is appreciated, thank you!PatternPattern

A simple breakdown can be accomplished by using 3 axial patterns if I am interpreting the image accurately. You can use some relations and patterns to accomplish the same thing another way but this breakdown is fast and easy to follow.

Create pattern leaders for axial patterns 0, 1, 2. Take care with the angle dim reference to keep the leaders relative spacing. Leader 0 is a single slot, leaders 1 & 2 consist of 2 slots as marked on pic below.

Pattern 0 fills 360 deg with 4 instances of a single slot.

Pattern 1 fills 360 deg with 8 instances of two slots.

Pattern 2 fills 360 deg with 8 instances of two slots.

First question is does this HAVE to be a pattern?  It's not like you're assembling anything to the slots at assembly, right?  Me, I'd do it in sketcher in one feature.

If it HAS to be a pattern, then it should be able to be done as a single pattern table pattern.

With two patterns, you can get the alternating effect...
