Compare STL with part

I have received a .STL file, it is a laserscanning and i want to compere it with a part. How does I?

Hej Stefan, first you must create a new part. Then choose Insert->shared data-> From file. Select now the stl file. Klick Analysis->Compare Part->By geometry. Take now the other part. Good Luck! Hälsingar från Tyskland Jürgen

OK. It works ok, but if i want to insert the part and STL file so that i can se if they fit together?

Hej Stefan, create a new assembly. Add both parts in this assembly. Analysis->Model analysis->Global Interference. I hope it helps. Regards Jürgen
