Controlling Parameter Decimal Places In Sketch

I have a part with an analysis feature that captures the area of a surface.  That area feature parameter is used to create raised text on the part.  I've done so by directly tying the feature parameter to the sketch text (see dialog box below).  The parameter is also displayed in a 3D note.

In the 3D note, the display is 3 decimal places however in the raised text it's 6 places.  How do I limit the raised text to 3 places?
