Enhanced Use of Cabling parameters in a drawing

When creating a drawing, top level cabling parameters of a component can be referenced in a drawing note so that the notes updated automatically.  What can't be referenced are the lower level parameters, such as pin/cavity information.  We would like to request that this functionality get expanded to include all of the available cabling parameters.

To be clear you want to extract the pin information

f1.png

So it would be something like $PIN_NAME:PIN_ID_1:att_conn

Do you also want to extract the information from the Entry port csys

f2.png

So it would be something line $INT_LENGTH:PIN_ID_1:att_feat

thanks Jim

Jim,

Yes, the Pin information is more important than the Entry_Port parameters.  But if your team is in there adding the coding, why not do them all?  Also note that for the pin information leave room for tagging User defined parameters.  You know we all have them.
