Fastener CAD Library?

Does anyone know or have opinions about purchasing a standard fastener library? From who? Is it worth it? Are there any good alternatives to a library?

doesn't PTC have their own fastener library? Send me an email and I will send you a socket head cap screw with directions on how use it. steve.stavos@raomfg.com

This is fastener library http://www.3dmodelspace.com/ptc sometimes I use McMASTER.com if I want threads shown

Don't use McMaster parts, they're total junk and will bog down your assembly. The threads are not threads at all (pattern of angled cuts), and the geometry is awful. The PTC parts are not much better. I've made single-level family table based libraries of fasteners modeled to the correct ASME spec at the last 2 companies I've been at, and they work much better.

You can always make your own library and work with mapkeys to make the library faster.
