Filters WF3

Hi All,

I have a Repeat Region filter (shown below) that fails everytime, if I eliminate *33-09-08 at the end it works everytime. It appears there are too many characters in line two, it's not the number combintion as I can put this same number elsewhere and it works fine as well. Does anyone know if theres a character limit per line in filters?

&fam.inst.param.name == part_number
&fam.inst.name == *00TR, *00D, *33-00-99, *33-09-00, *30-09-00, *33-09-03, *33-09-08

Please let me know if anyone has a solution for this issue.

Thanks,

Doug

RE: Filters WF3

yes the old 80 character rule.

Copy this to notepad and you will see it or remove proportional spacing.

&fam.inst.name == *00TR, *00D, *33-00-99, *33-09-00, *30-09-00, *33-09-03, *33-09-08

Is there no way around this? I attemped to create a second line to include the additional number but this failed as well. Is there a work around for this?

The rules add together to create the filter. You could have multiple lines of "not equal to" for all the instances you don't want displayed. If you have two lines with "==", then both lines must be true for the item to be displayed.
