Geometry from a surface.

Geometry from a surface.

I have a cloud of points, I create a datum curve.

Interpole this datum curve.

Create a boundary blend.

I need to revolutionize this 3D geometry, but without designing it into a sketch. Because will deform the geometry.

How can I build this geometry in Creo Parametric?

Regards,

Glecilene Ruas.

Assuming the shape is the same throughout the revolve, I would probably take a section through the uncut body and revolve it about 330 degrees as a surface. You should be able to make Datum curves through your points; 2 curves for each side. You would then create a boundary blend between the pairs. Use merge to create an enclosed volume and solidify. You might have to extend the surfaces to have them properly intersect for the merge.
