Helical Sweep with Spherical Profile

Pro/GURU's,

I'm trying to help a user create a helical sweep feature with a spherical profile. That part is easy enough, but the intended result might be described as like a thick piece of tape that gets stuck on and spiraled around the domed spherical surface. Trouble arises when defining the Section to be swept. There isn't a way to reference the radial profile at all in the Sketcher. Sounds like a job for trajpar equations maybe? Hope I'm describing this well enough. Anyone have thoughts? I'm sort of stumped.

Thanks.

Thanks, eveyone for your suggestions. With the help of Kevin Audibert, I think we got what we were after. Kevin suggestedcreating a helical curve and then using that as the trajectory for a VSS, and sent an example. It's not as elegant a solution as I was hoping for, but in the end I think this will work. Screenshot attached, Thanks again.
