I am having Creo Parametric 2.0. In that there is tab called Flexible Modeling . Is ‘Flexible Modeling’ the same as ‘Creo Direct’? If they are different, how I can get a free trial for ‘Creo Direct’

The basic functionality is the same and continuing to develop as PTC brings functionality from Elements/Direct (CoCreate) into their own kernel and modeler. The biggest difference is that the “Flexible Modeling” is meant for Parametric users who need to be able to change a part in ways it was not built. Direct, is focused more on creating your model as a direct model. In both cases, Creo is actually remembering the steps you take in the model tree. Since this thread is on the Elements/Direct forum, remember that neither Flexible modeling nor Direct is the former CoCreate. I am watching the development of Direct closely in the hopes that it can be developed to the CoCreate level but work smoothly with Parametric.

As I understand it, Flexible Modeling are some extensions to the Parameteric interface. Creo Direct, on the other hand, is a complete application which provides a complete modeling environment (either modification of existing models, or the ability to create models from scratch).
