How do you hide an imported feature?

I've looked through all the options but still haven't figured out how to hide an "imported feature".

If this is possible how would it be done.

I even have a layer with the imported model but the "hide" option does not hide the imported model.

When you import geometry as quilt and not as solid

Can hide in the tree but can also create a layer and

add to this quilt or solid layer and hide

I hope to have helped

Wow, I didn't expect a solution to this issue so soon.

This works perfectly as the imported model is only used as a skeleton framework for my model built from scratch. I will just delete the imported feature when I get all the necessary placement information from it.
