How to change transparency of a part and how to capture a screenshot in Creo 3

Hi,

 

I am wondering if you can change transparency of a part in creo 3 and how to make screenshot in Creo 3? Thank you

I'm in CP2 and I think CP3 will be similiar

select the part

click the view tab

pull down the munu from the model display section

select component style then transparent

one simple way, because I do not know what your intent is with the screen shot:

ctrl-prtscrn

paste in paint (select paint graphic area >ctrl-v)

Don't forget to mark the answer as correct for those who may find this in the future.

You can also change the appearance to a transparent material.

You can copy and edit appearances also.  Find the render tab.
