Importing AutoCAD section into Creo Parametric for Extrusion

Hi there, I have a part that was designed in AutoCAD by our supplier and I am trying to extrude it in Creo Parametric. This is my first day of using Creo and this is a very frustrating issue. The imported AutoCAD file appears "wavy" for some reason. Check out the attached images:

Save it as a dxf, then create a new extrude in Creo, import the data into the sketch for the extrusion. Sounds like you are probably doing that part correctly. I'm not sure what you mean by wavy but if your extrusion is long enough compared to the wall thickness or section width then you'll need to increase your shade quality and/or model accuracy.
