If I create a Inheritance part B from part A and I want to create a
datum with the same name as a datum that exists in part A, Pro/E will
not let me. It states "Same name exists."
Now if I first create that datum in part B and then create the same
datum with the same name in part A and regen its ok. It looks like Pro/E
has a bit of code that renames the datum with a "_1" in the merge
feature but keeps the original datum name in both of the parts.
Does anyone know how to do it in reverse without getting the "Same name
exists"?
