Is it Possible? Variable section sweep with more than 2 sections and on a 3d datum curve?

What I am trying to accomplish here is a multiple bend flared tube for a swedge fitting. I'm only able to sweep 2 sections on my 3d datum curve, the start and the end. I can sweep multiple sections on a 2d plane but not a 3d datum curve. Thoughts? Is this possible?

I'm thinking you want to use Swept Blend, not a Variable Section Sweep.

I believe sections can only be added at end points. If you wish to build off one sweep, you could copy it in portions to get the additional end points.

There is always more to learn in Creo.

Which feature allows sections only at end points?

Learn something new every day.  Swept blend can have sections placed at datum points on the trajectory curve.

Ok, so, I know you were wanting multiple sections along A trajectory.  Simple:  Swept Blend feature.

BUT....in my twisted mind, I though, hmmm, can I make a Sweep (what I still call a VSS - Variable Section Sweep) with multiple sections in the feature....and you CAN.  I'm using one feature, 4 trajectories, but it appears you can have multiple sections.

So there!  🙂
