Layers

Hello again,

I have a mess of layers, or should I say a layer mess. After establishing a default layer scheme Is there a way to globally, as in all our files in Intrelink, delete all part & asm layers and re-assign the appropriate feature with appropriate layers? If not thru the magic of Intralink how about when I bring up an asm or at least on the part level? I have heard that Model Check might be a possibility.

Thanks

Re: Layers

Dan,

Two options.

1) As parts, asm come up for change, create the mother of all mapkeys to
do this work for you. Initial work will take time but once it's done, a
simple keystroke and it's fixed. I'm sure someone on the exploder has
one to start with for reference.

2) ModelCHECK will indeed do what you want in Batch mode. The setup is
rather in depth but very possible.
