MATERIAL DATABASE IN CREO 2.0

Hello ALL

IN Creo, when we try to assign a material to a part, we go to

FILE >> PREPARE >> MODEL PROPERTIES >> MATERIAL >> CHANGE.

After which it opens a tab of "MATERIAL DATABASE" , here we can define a new material of our or use the available material if already predefined.

So now i have many material (.mtl files) predefined in my server which i want them in this creo's "MATERIAL DATABASE".

So how do i copy them from my server to my creo's MATERIAL DATABASE?

Thank You

Regards

Sumeet

perhaps you can point to them using the config.pro option

pro_material_dir <directory>

If you need to move them to another computer, just copy the files across the network or use a portable device (USB drive or CD).

If the files are on a network drive and you need all users to access the same files, use the pro_material_dir setting in your system-wide config.pro.
