WF5 M150 Drawings losing dimensions?

Hello All,

I have a user who has had dimensions dissappear after checking a drwaing into Intralink and then coming in the next morning to find dimenstiona missing? We have also had one instance of a user losing a projected view.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Is there a known fix? Does anyone know if it was fixed in subsequent releases?

PTC support cannot find where it is an issue and we cannot reproduce it consistently?

Any and all feedback welcome.

Creo Elements Pro M150 and Intralink 9.1 M050

Thanks,

David T. Francis

One possibility:
With respect to dimensions missing, is it possible the drawing only was checked but not the model? If the config.pro option "create_drawing_dims_only" is set to no (which is default), then any created dimensions on the drawing are actually stored in the model.

I find this more prevalent in organizations where pdmlink is used in conjunction with strict revision control and user try not to check in anything except the drawing.

As far as drawing views, that's a mystery, obviously shouldn't happen.

We have a huge problem with this in WF5. I believe there is an SPR on this that mainly deals with manually created dimensions and erased dimensions. I have personally verified this issue with shown dimensions, manually created dimensions, and set datums. PTC Tech Support's response has been for us to send them the original drawings and models for them to investigate, but we can't do that. We're mostly converted to Creo 2.0 so I hope that fixes the issue, but we can't go through another product release cycle with these documentation issues.
