approach path fails HELP 2

Hello Pro E CAM users...

I have created a volume sequence (using a milling window).
I have tried creating an approach path by setting an axis in the middle of the cavity, and using that as a reference for the approach
In order to avoid reducing the useful life of the milling tool, I need to make it increase it´s depth along the axis of the cylinder inside the workpiece.
Unfortunately the axis is being ignored (no reason given). This would be the approach for every slice.
If an approach path is set, is it necessary to set the exit path as well? is this the reason why it is being ignored?
HELP
thanks a lot for any help, regards
AL.

files: wp, cavity, asm and mfg.
I have also attached an image of the warning message.

Alvaro,

What has worked for me was to set the parameter trim_to_workpiece to trim_to_top. This would get you what you want.

Works on my end

Tony
