I'm really hoping someone who knows a lot about pro/e and the dxf
specification can help me out with this. I'm trying to get to the root
cause of our dxf issues.
We have a few rules-based layers in the pro/e model. Here is the issue:
entities that pro/e has assigned to these layers is getting assigned to
those layers in the dxf, and NOT to the 0 layer.
I examined the log files, and here's what I found. For my simple part (a
rectangle with 2 circular holes), here's what it did in WF2:
