how to do a family table by features?

i'm working in a model, and so far i know how to do family tables modifying dimensions, but now i want to know how to have a model with different features.

someone can help me out with this?

Add the feature to the table and change it's status to Y N or *.

Y resumes the feature

N suppresses the feature

*  follows the suppress/resume status of the Generic (Not recommended)

If you suppress a feature in the Generic, then open an instance and create a feature in the instance, the feature is automatically added to the generic and automatically suppressed in the Generic, and is added to the table as Y only for the instance it was created in and a status of * in all the others. You can resume in the Generic or set the status in the other instances.

Note that if a feature created in an Instance is resumed in the Generic or another instance, it may fail if the references do not exist or the geometry is incompatible.
