material files for drawing format

Pro Gurus,

Background

Pro Experts,

I got no responses last Friday, so I am going to send it again. I am
trying to setup material files that can be read into a drawing format.
If I require a parameter in my model then I can follow TAN 130467
(copied below for reference)

Trying to better describe what TAN 130467 suggests. Each material file
provides a PTC parameter "ptc_material_description". The parameter
"ptc_material_description" is reserved and belongs to the material file.
Use that field for your desired descriptive text (i.e. Aluminum Alloy
6061-T6 per ASTM B209). In a part model, if only one material is
assigned to that part, create a "material" parameter and then add the
following relation to the
part.....material=material_param("PTC_MATERIAL_DESCRIPTION"). Then in
the drawing title block use &material to report the material description
of the model on the drawing.

Question

Now if I follow Tan 130467 (below), then it causes all of our users to
manually go into the Relation editor and after many mouse button clicks
to pull the "PTC_MATERIAL_DESCRIPTION" parameter into a relation for
each part file. They have to do this manually each time. I can set up
a mapkey so it is a little easier to do, but that can be a little
unstable depending upon where your cursor is prior to running the mapkey
in the Relation editor. Does anyone have a better/different way to
automatically define the material, density, and put into the drawing
format automatically?
