I am a new user. I am using wildfire 3. I want to know if i can make the flattened pattern first then have the program make the folded sheetmetal from my flat pattern. If this can be done where can I find a tutorial?

James, Yes, you can do this, however, the final formed up dimensions will be controlled by the "y" or "k" factor that you use, so keep that in mind. I don't know if there are any tutorials on this but you just created a flat wall and add bends to the wall. This is done by menu option, insert bend operation, then you will have options as angle, regular, then you can sketch where you want the bend line to be.

after i select bend operations which one of the five choices should i then select?
