CABLING - Marker and tape feature

What is the use of Marker feature in cabling?

Can the tape feature be used to coil two cables together??

As for this question:

You cannot use marker or tape features to fix coils of a cable/wire together, so that they clutch to each other. You will have to generate the coils' shape as desired by routing.

So I guess this leaves the question to whether you can create a tape or marker around more than one portion of the same cable at a time.

Anyone tried this?
