How do I determine which direction the clocking angle is being measured? In other words, is the angle that Pro/E spits out in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction relative to the first coordinate system?
Answer is... It doesn't matter... As long as you pick a method and stick to it.
We just switch from clockwise to counter clockwise and everything is going haywire...
You should create a clocking symbol to include on each drawing. Make it clear whether you are looking at the pins or the backshell when you specify your direction. You may want to consult with your cable assembler to find our what they are used to. Then you have a better chance of getting good cables.
Good luck to you whatever you choose.
