Crashes with reboots

Crashes with reboots

Have a user who is crashing frequently, often followed by the machine
rebooting itself. They are using a new Dell 670, equipped with the FX
1400 video card and the PTC-certified driver. The machine even rebooted
itself once when ProE wasn't even running. Have verified that most
crashes are not memory limit overruns.

I am out of ideas. Anyone have some?

Sounds like a hardware problem or it could be getting to hot. Check the fan
on the CPU, power supply and video card.

You should disable Automatic Restarts by going to System Properties and selecting the Advanced tab. Select Settings under Startup and Recovery and uncheck Automatically restart. Next, check the Event Logger for any messages.
