Drawing / Model rights in Intralink

Hello,

We are using Intralink 3.2 and Pro/E 2001. We want a Junior designer to
do the detailing work for the Senior designer. We do not want the Junior
designer to be able to inadvertantly make chages to the models or designs.

Is there a way to lock the features in a model so that they can not be
changed, but still have the designer able to create dimensions and save
the drawings?

If we use Intralink to lock the models the Junior designers cannot
create dimensions and save the drawing.

Drawing / Model rights in Intralink

Hi All

Thanks to all that responded to my querry regarding how to control
access to the drawings and the nodels. The three suggestions that look
like they will work here are to add a folder in commonspace for drawings
only and set accesses, modify the config.pro for create dwg dims and set
the last feature in the model to read only.

However, I have begun to test the first two items, and when we reopen
the drawing the next day we are getting approx 3% of the pages in the
drawing showing purple on ordinate dims in one direction only. This is
puzzling because it is not consistent, and only on some pages. Does
anyone have any suggestions on what maybe causing this?
