I would like to attach a feed through cable gland to a harness. The cable gland exists in an assembly, the cable (in the harness part in the assembly) routes through it. If I define the cable gland as a splice or inline connector and route the cable to the entries, then of course the cable gets split. If I simply route the cable through the gland (on locations on its axis) then there is no way to attach it to the flattened harness.
How can the desired result be realized such that the cable remains intact in the flattened harness?
