Showing harness length in drawing note

I had a user ask me how to show the harness length in a drawing note. The length can be shown in a table using harn.run.len. Does anyone know where the table gets the data, and/or how I would show that in a note instead of the table?

Showing harness length in drawing note

Matt,

To add this report parameter to a table in WF 2.0, make sure your table
has a repeat region, then:

-Left Click the Cell you want to add the Report Parameter

-Right Click to select Report Parameter

-Select harn

-Select run

-Select len

-This creates the Report Parameter called harn.run.len

-Update your table and you will see your cable/wire lengths

For the second part of your question, I tried creating a note having
&harn.run.len parameter, but it does not do anything. If you discover
how to make this work, let me know as I would be interested.

Thanks,

New relation in drawing, look in - part

such as,      aaa=cable_len("w-1",location id 1,location id 2)
                       bbb=cable_len("w-1",-1,-1)

then add &aaa or &bbb

more info about function cable_len, refer to article:
