Advanced chain selection

hi, i have a problem with the advanced chain selection. i used the search function but dont find anything about this. i tried the chain selection according this guide. Advanced Modeling with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 https://precisionlms.ptc.com/app/?wicket:interface=viewerPageMap:0:::: "Cursor over one of the vertical edges and right-click to query and select the side edges Intent chain." it sounds easy but it doesnt work. theres still one angel highlighted. perhaps it lies on any config settings? what settings have to change? pls help

Hello, are you holding down the Shift key while you are right clicking the mouse? If not, it should work now for an edge. If you are and it still is not working, you must be working with some Datum Curves. With Datum Curves you may need to select the original edge a second time before being able to select adjacent curves with the Shift key. It all sounds goofy, but it must have had to be the way they needed to get it to work in Wildfire. Good luck, Joel Joel Cartwright Instructor at EAC Prod. Dev. Solns.

To get intent chains to work try adding the following to your config.pro file: logical_objects yes then open the model player, select Regenrate Features, and replay the features of the model.
