Analysis run not completing - help?

Can anyone help point me in the right direction after getting this message?

Stress error estimates are not available
because all external element edges lie
in regions that are constrained or where
the stress is potentially singular.

Well... erm... what it says. How is your model constrained? Can you share a screenshot, or better yet attach the model?

Barry,

The technical specifications for your material they are just.

Best Regards.

Denis.

Thanks for your feedback - unfortunately I cant post specific details as the information is classified.

However, I am beginning to think that it may be related to the simplified reps I have setup?

Problem diverted!

Im not too sure if it is a bug or something Ive done?

Basically I had an assembly (1 Housing + 2 Components + 2 Adhesives) with 2 simplified reps. The housing was common to both reps.

I had a succesful run with rep 1, but when trying a run on rep 2 this was where I got the problem?

In the end I got around it by just making a copy of the assembly and having a single rep in each.

Im not convinced the problem has been answered.

I still dont know why I had the problem, other than its link to simplified reps?
