Hi alls,
I have to simulate (with MDO) a vehicle that rolls on rail (about like a
train).
The aim is to estimate speed, acceleration, power consumption.
In order to validate my Creo/MDO models, I would like to make basic calculus
outside Creo.
I have to consider :
- Vehicle weight
- Rails slopes
- Wind speed (I've already made a CFD study and I know wind forces)
- Rolling resistances
- Friction in wheels bearings.
I would like to analyze this vehicle in several cases :
- Starting from a null speed in a slope
- Rolling on horizontal plane (need to add energy)
- Using friction brakes.
So, I'm wondering if there are some simple software, web-site explanations.
that could explain how to estimate physical quantities I'm looking for.
I think I've learn this when I was younger but it's so far.
Any link or explanation would be very appreciated.
