Bonded contact analysis

Bonded contact analysis

Hello,

I am trying to do a FEA on bonded contact model, which I ran with contact before.

Even I tried to implement a bonded contact (componenet to componenet) and changed to bonded in model setup, it is not being detected. During the review geometry option it is not even showing that, which is very strange.

Anyone have solution for this?

Regards

Shinoy

In my opinion, when you have to do a contact analysis, one way to have a good control on the interfaces is setting the analysis generally free, and set all interfaces between parts after.

This metodology might take much time if you launch a contact analysis on a "big" assembly...but I don't think you launch that kind of analisys on a big assembly.

Did you remove all contact interfaces ?

Maybe you should start a new simulation model

(see picture).

When simulate refuses do do what you want, this will let you start over again.
