Cylindrical csys contrainsts

WhatsApp Image 2019-06-18 at 10.23.33.jpeg

As Shown is figure, i have defined a cylindrical csys System

And i want to constrain the axial motion while allowing rotation of the shaft....

what is the difference if i am constraining Z or R

 I have tried pin joint which has same principle of working.... But the factor R is not clear to me in 3D models

what is the purpose of R

Cylindrical-Z = Cartesian-Z

x and y => r and phi

This image is copied from creo official website... And this differs from the explanation you are giving..

i also thought

R is movement in 3D

T is angular movement w.r.to Z as axis

and Z is axial axis have lateral movement

But according to the image on Creo website Z and R are same just having different position....
