Evening All,
Has anyone come across this ...
The model was originally created in Creo2 M130 (customer)
I loaded into and ran it using Creo2 M100 (a quick review without having to install M130)
The message pops up when I try and read results I just created in M100
Being brave and confirming reads and displays results ok.
It's not a major problem; more a curiosity.
Thanks
Hi,
can You test M080?

My test in Creo 2.0 M080:
curiosity...
I saw your M080 question but would have had to download install ... always a job for later.
I think I know what it is saying. It recognises the model being read is from a newer edition of the software. Given they are all Creo 3.0 it isn't really a problem in our examples.
But I would prefer deliberately misinterpret. I quite like the idea of it attempting to read a model from the future and that Creo 3.0 has space-time manipulation capability using the event horizon module (additional license required).
This would mean I could do tomorrow's work yesterday in time for last week using Creo 4.0.

I think it's modification of contact analysis:
sim_contact_penetration: the meaning of this config.pro option
as well as the engine command line option (-contact_penetration) was different before Creo 2.0 M100
