Spherically Released Cylinders to Move a Gimbel

Anyone have an idea on how to set motion up for Sphericaly released cylinders.

I keep getting an error due to the rotation to the cylinder.

I am also getting an error on my gimbal. I want it locked out so it can't spin. Want the range of motion locked to 12 Degrees.

I have tried having Sub-Assemblies (Cylinders and Gimbal)  and all components in one file. I just can't get this one to work.

Gif of motion I want. (Forgive me for the poor dragging)

I actually want to move the cylinders thru the sweep ranges and make a motion sweep of the area.

Any Help is much appreciated.

Gif and Dummy Files attached.

I recommend changing your 4 gimbals to match your center X connection.

Each gimbal would then have two pin joints and a dummy part for the X.

To make your motion, record the cylinder extensions at each of the points you want to reach then use a tabulated servo motor to control each cylinder.
