Wrap function in assembly

Wrap function in assembly

WF2 M160

Has anyone been able to get the Edit > Wrap function to work in assembly
mode? It shows in the menu mapper it should be available, but it's grayed
out. All I want to do is wrap a sketch (aka datum curve) onto a couple of
surfaces.

RE: Wrap function in assembly

Thank you for all the responses I received. The option that worked was to
pick the surfaces in the assembly that I want to "wrap" on. Select copy and
then paste. That put a surface in the assembly. Now the Wrap command is
not grayed out. After creating the feature I can turn the layer off for the
surface.

RE: Wrap function in assembly

I was struggling with this last week a bit, now I am concerned. Does
the Wrap feature *require* a quilt-type surface? I.e., it cannot use
solid geometry surfaces?

Wrap on assembly

Hi alls,

I'm working on an assembly made of several parts and I'm wondering how to
warp whole parts in the same manner.

It seems that Warp function doesn't exist for assembly so I'm looking for a
method that would help me for apply same warp deformations on all parts.

Thanks for any advice,

GB
