I did installation of Pro/Engineer Wildfire 5.0 M050 with floating license,but I got error like this : "Cannot connect to license server".
Data spec of hardware :
1. Client Hardware : OS Windows 10,Pro/Engineer Wildfire 5.0 M050
2. Server Hardware : Windows Server 2003 SP2
Flexnet : lmgrd V10.8.6.2
Any Suggest for this error?
I guess that Firewall running on license server is blocking communication between client and server. You have to define rule in server's firewall to enable incomming communication for lmgrd.exe and ptc_d.exe. These exe files are located in FLEXnet installation on server.
Note: To test that Firewall blocking communication, simply turn it off temporarily.
I also have some problem of connect to license server.
Would you please let me know how to define rule in server's firewall to enable incomming communication for lmgrd.exe and ptc_d.exe.
