Cannot install Creo after moving license host

I am using Pro/ENGINEER and Creo Elements/Pro Release 17.0 and Datecode96130

I changed the license host from a computer that died to the new device in the PTC licensing management website, but am having issues installing Creo with the new licensing information. I saved the license.txt file to the new device and it keeps telling me that the license server is not reachable, despite the fact that the license server is the local computer.

It is not really clear to me (or the community) which CAD product you are using / would like to use.

• PTC CoCreate Modeling Version 17.00 / Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 17.0 Mxy
  ?

If the latter one and you have installed the MELS on your local computer: what is displayed at http://localhost:17171/ ? Does it look okay?
