Hi Guys:
This one is stumping us. We have setup a Windchill 10.1 M010 test server. We are trying to view the representations and while Creo view loads no representation/drawing comes up in the window. We have tried PTC tech support to no avail so far. Here is what we have tried so far.
- editing the existing (Default) CAD Worker in Windchill 10.1, I configured it to run locally, on the Windchill Application server.
The Creo Parametric Adapter Configuration was setup to point to Creo Elements/Pro 5 on the local machine. There is a PSF for that installation specifically for use by vis. and the Start Command in the configuration tool is set to point to that batch file.
- The Windchill>Site>Utilities Worker Configuration Wizard is set to use the Execute command D:\ptc\creo_view_adapters\proe_setup\proeworker.bat, Startup Time is set to 90 seconds.
- That Worker was Reloaded and the Start all was pushed. After it started I returned to the Creo Parametric Adapter Configuration tool, the Test Server button was pushed, but it failed.
- deleted the existing (should have left it!) and then created a new CAD Worker. This CAD worker will not start and of course the Creo Parametric Adapter Configuration tool fails on Test Server.
Any ideas? Note that we are also having trouble registering a server in a ProE session to the Windchill server. We think that the problems my be connected. When we do this we get a:
SOAP HTTP Error: 500, Internal server Error.
Do you wish to connect in offline mode? > No > Server is currently not available. Check your connectrion or contact an administrator.
Also the standalone and embeded browser work fine except for the CreoView problem.
Please note that we had a previous test server using the exact same software builds before and it was working fine. We rebuilt and imported the latest Windchill dump from our production server as a last test before going live when this happened.
Here are the error windows I am getting from the links that PTC had me try if that is any help.
