Constraining parts with angle dim

Hi all,

I'm adding an angular constraint in an assembly. I can make the angle .6
and .7, but nothing in between. Does anyone know if this is an accuracy
issue, a Pro issue, or something else?
I've modified the ang_tol in the config.pro to 0, 1, 2 and 3. None of
those settings made a difference. Is a tenth of a degree Pro's limit?

Thanks,
Stefan

Hi Kevin and all,

This is a sheet metal part with a wall that's defined by a radius (red
part) that fits on another part with a radius (cyan part). I have them
constrained by aligning the axis. I just want to get the red part to
properly fit in the cyan part by moving it like a pendulum. A tenth of a
degree moves the left side of the red part about the same distance as it
is now, only outside of the cyan part (.6 versus .7). All I'm trying to do
is to get rid of the interference. By no means are we trying to hold
anything to a tenth of a degree. It's just that by edit or edit
definition, .65 won't take.

I've also tried the default_angle_dec_places, but it looks like that's
just for drawing mode.

Stefan

The question that I have is can your manufacturing hold anything more than
a tenth of a degree? Or if you are outsourcing, can you afford anything
more?
