Of the latest M numbers for Creo 4.0, are there any levels that you have found to be more stable/unstable than other?
We are hoping to move to Creo 7.0 later this year.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Just recently updated to the latest version of Creo 4.0.
Maybe next year with move ahead to another version.
Dale,
Are you using Windchill, too?
That will impact what versions of Creo you may use.
Always the higher the M#, the better the quality of the release.
We have been on M080 almost since it was released with no major issues and no issues that would cause me to upgrade to a newer build at this time.
When I upgrade Windchill to 11.2, I may have to jump to a newer Creo 4 build.
I did install Creo 4m110 on my CreoView publishing servers.
We are not using Windchill. It is just (2) stand alone stations with "Hey, are you working on this file" system.
We have been on M090 for a while and it hasn't been bad. We are moving quickly to M130 to get some performance improvements in Creo Simulate Live. We have been ASSURED by Brian Thompson that this will be an extremely stable build.

If you are under maintenance or subscriptions, why not go with a newer release, as long as you don't have to worry about Windchill issues.
Simplicity.
I have not had the time to put into updating and upgrading.
I need to look into machine capabilities, upgrading mapkeys, any other unknowns that will smack me upside the head after we have leapt across the great divide.
Ohh... and by the way, it is down to just me for the past several months.
