Creo graphics perform poorly after losing and reestablishing license.

I'm having a use who's Creo 7.0.4.0 runs really poorly after losing VPN and license, then reconnecting.

Poorly means highlighting is very slow.

 

Has anyone else run into this issue in the past and found resolution?
