That tip applies only to Intralink 3.x, not 9.x.

This will suffice for me - and it was pointed out the tip was for 3.x not 9.x Thanks everyone!

For what it’s worth, if you use LDAP to authenticate with IntraLink (8+), you are prompted with a login which allows you to save the username and password. This method also permits the user to have the same username and password for their system login.
