Error given after installation of Creo 2.0 M160

After installing Creo 2.0 M160 (M150 was flawless) the error prod_dcu.exe has stopped working, I seem to have cured it by doing a custom install and deselecting the option to use PTC diagnostics on each application. The installer still installs the PTC diagnostics.

Bill,

PTC Diagnostic Tools item is always installed during installation of Creo 2.0 M150+. If you use commercial Creo license, you can uninstall PTC Diagnostic Tools when Creo installation is finished. Simply go to Programs and Features and uninstall it.

Note: I don't know the purpose of prod_dcu.exe ...

Hi Martin,

It is still installed, I just told the installer not to use the diagnostic facility using the customize function, that seems to have stopped it popping up.

prod_dcu.exe reports the following when it is run in a cmd tool

usage: pdod_dcu product [ -flag ]... -element elemValue ...

here is the offending message that shows up when you start creo parametric, pressing Close the program dismisses the box, its just annoying more than anything else
